How time flies…one week since our 9th annual 6-a-side tournament over the weekend of 31st August and 1st September and it’s time for an overview…
We’d like to THANK all of the Clubs, parents/guardians, players and coaches from over 270 teams, 2500 players and around 5500+ spectators for attending one of the largest TWO day tournaments in the South for both girls and boys under 7s to under 16s age groups…thanks to all who came from far and wide to make an enjoyable and fun occasion for Grassroots Football.
Unlike this past week, the weather was very kind to us with the ice cream van, bbq and refreshments doing a roaring trade providing everyone with much needed nourishment between games.
The Senior Committee would ESPECIALLY like to thank each and everyone of our club volunteers / coaches and players, external volunteers Tracy, Rhiannon, Roger, Alun and Dan with their help in setting up, car parking, registraton, pitch marshalling, BBQ, refreshments, signage, first aid and end of day clear up Saturday and Sunday evenings…You’re ALL superstars and we couldn’t have done it without you…
To all the referee’s, without you we’d have no tournament and in extreme weather you did a sterling job.
The Mountbatten School for being a fantastic venue host yet again and, the staff at Personal Best Education for pitch marshalling and refreshments, the site team for support and TVBC for fabulously cut and marked up pitches.
To Romsey Town Mayor, Councillor John Parker…who with Adam and Scott from Chelsea FC Football Development came along to present trophies and medals to the winners and runners up.

For those Club’s that attended, Early Bird promotion will commence in October and you’ll be invited to register via beeslive.co.uk and tournamentbeesfc@gmail.com will be the only contact for the 2025 tournament on the 30th and 31st August…our 10th anniversary!
